The magic of the Internet lies in the fact that it has connected the vast world in an unprecedented way, making distance no longer a barrier to business development. Although online shopping has now become a common and familiar way of life for people, at that time, making the decision to close our offline stores and transfer all our products to online sales undoubtedly required great courage and determination. This meant not only facing many unknown risks and challenges but also encountering even more intense competition from all directions. Every step we took was like walking on thin ice, full of uncertainties.
In the final analysis, talent is the core key and fundamental driving force behind the development of any business. The primary task of our transformation towards the Internet was to seek out professional talents who understood operation principles and had innovative thinking. So, on the one hand, we actively recruited talented individuals, posting job advertisements through various channels to attract those aspiring and talented people who carried dreams in their hearts to join our team. On the other hand, we took the time to learn and improve ourselves, participating in various online and offline training courses and seminars, constantly updating our knowledge systems, and enhancing our professional capabilities. At the same time, we methodically began to reduce our offline store business and optimize and integrate our existing resources.
After more than two years of unremitting efforts and hard work, we were delighted to find that the sales volume of our online store had successfully exceeded that of our offline stores, becoming a new growth point for our company's performance. Subsequently, to further optimize our company's operating costs and improve operational efficiency, we decided to relocate our factory to an area with more convenient transportation and more controllable costs. Fortunately, with my younger brother's all-out efforts and perseverance, this crucial transformation step was successfully completed. Over the years, my younger brother has grown rapidly at work and has become increasingly capable. Now, I can rest assured to entrust the production process to him and focus more of my energy on the company's strategic planning and business expansion.
Consumer attitudes and shopping habits are undergoing profound changes at an unprecedented pace. As business operators, we must keep up with the development of the times and keenly capture every subtle change in the market to remain invincible in the fierce market competition. The booming development of the Internet has enabled people to enjoy a convenient and pleasant shopping experience without leaving their homes. With just a click of the mouse or a touch of the screen, their desired products can cross thousands of mountains and rivers and be delivered to their hands in no time. At the same time, the rapid improvement of the delivery efficiency in the express delivery industry has made global shopping a reality. The earth seems to have become a small village, and people can easily exchange goods with each other no matter how far apart they are.
Admittedly, in the process of globalization, we still need to deal with many difficulties such as language barriers, time zone differences, and differences in living habits. However, these are just minor setbacks on our long journey and cannot stop our forward progress.
The glorious experiences of the past are indeed precious. They are like shining stars that have illuminated the path we have traveled. But at this moment, I am determined to let go of all of them, travel light, and once again pick up my dream backpack and embark on a new journey. Once again, I made a crucial decision that would have a far-reaching impact—I am determined to ensure that children all over the world can wear the dancewear we carefully create and that our ballet skirts can shine on every stage around the world, becoming messengers of love and beauty.
Before that, I didn't hesitate to step into the classroom once again, eagerly absorbing knowledge to recharge myself. I am full of anticipation, hoping that through my own efforts, I can bravely stand at the center of the world stage and showcase our brand's charm and cultural connotations to the whole world. I was 44 years old that year. From then on, my partners and I would travel to international exhibitions in cities like New York and Rome every once in a while, actively promoting our high-quality products and humbly learning from others' advanced business models and exquisite techniques. Thus, we officially launched our international development journey, forging ahead bravely towards higher goals and writing our own glorious chapter.
